This mount installs easily ( I stuck it to the fake wood on the console on a Volvo XC70) and it adhered quickly and securely. The magnet seems sturdy and my iPhone plus sized phone has no fallen off of the mount. To me the nicest thing is where I was able to stick the mount. I stuck it to the upper portion of the console, which is easy to look at for GPS map stuff, which is all I would use a mounted phone for since all the phone call related features run through the bluetooth in the car. I also have a Volvo convertible and I am ordering one for that car too. The mount itself is nicely small and unobtrusive. Very minimalist and clean looking.

This little guy is the bomb!!! Beautifully engineered and works fantastic. Holds my note 8 without any issues so far. Great product. I would recommend to anyone. However….. please adhere to instructions. Make certain your adhesion location is oil, grease, dust ……..and lint free. May not stick to some auto surfaces . Surface should be flat and smooth. If not, get extra 3m double side sticky tape ……..and add one piece to make thicker ……..and this may allow for adhesion to rougher surfaces.
