This may sound weird – but I was looking for a way to wash my face at night without making a drippy mess all over the floor (water streaming from hands to elbows) and getting my arms all wet. These really work perfectly! They are super absorbent, and wide enough (maybe 3.5 inches?) to do a VERY good job of catching any running water before it hits my forearms and then the floor.
