I can honestly say that I was a bit skeptical when I purchased this Aquarium Vacuum, but it works very well. It siphons the water out of the aquarium very quickly. I have a large bucket that I use to pump the dirty water into without making a mess carrying the aquarium to the sink. Now I can siphon the water out and then bring the aquarium to the sink without splashing water all over the floor. The hose is also very easy to clean when I’m finished siphoning the water from the aquarium. I would definitely recommend this product.

This device works well. I had a couple of problems as it was the first time I have used anything like this. That said, the results were excellent. I will be shortening the hose to make it less unwieldy and over time I’ll be more practiced. I have a small tank and while this was designed for a larger one it made quick work of the task. Maybe the manufacturer could post a short video for us “first time” users.
