I’ve only tried then once and did not get to see a reflection of them in a window while riding but I did turn the bike upside down and hand peddled the back tire fast and yes these lights go through many brilliant designs and colors. Seems like you would really need to be hauling fast to keep a good animation display going. Works like it says… what you see is what you get. Easy to install…just clip them in, press a button to turn them on and away you go. I have not used them long enough to know about battery life but they seem to go to sleep when you’re not moving.

I bought these bike lights for my nephew who likes to ride his bike to the neighbor’s house and sometimes returns at night. Because it’s not a well-lit road, this provides a good source of light to alert drivers that he’s there. He loves them because they have a range of different colors and designs. They were super easy to install. He actually did himself and it took him less than 5 minutes. You can easily recharge them with the cord provided if you don’t want to replace the batteries. Easy for any teenager to do. I will probably buy 2 more sets for my younger nephews.
