My 7 month old recently discovered his pee pee and it made diaper changes a hassle- wrestling with his flailing arms and legs going in all directions. It was all fun and games until he pooped and wrestling a squirmy baby with a poopy butt was not fun. I ordered this contraption to keep his hands out of the way and it works wonders. Everyone with a baby needs this! My baby started reaching down to her butt or trying to roll over while changing her diaper and this makes it so much easier to keep her occupied and still! I was hesitant to purchase this because I thought $30 was a bit too much for a changing pad. That being said, this has made my life much easier and that is worth the extra expense. My son has eczema on the backs of his legs and I have the hardest time keeping him from scratching them when I’m applying ointment/changing his clothes. Before this pad it would take me twice as long and left me feeling like I had just wrestled a greased octopus ( and lost). It’s just an added bonus for me that it keeps his hands out of his poop.

This is a great product, but some kids, like my grandson, can still turn over in it. But I give him a small musical toy with a blinking light and that helps distract him and keep him on his back. The best part is that he is not reaching down and getting his hands in the way of my diapering. This is a great gift as well. Diapering my grandson is like trying to diaper a rotisserie chicken during an earthquake!
