These arrived in a protective box inside a padded envelope, so I received them in perfect condition. They’re the right gauge and weight for making mini layered cakes and other molded desserts, which is primarily why I bought them. Excellent value for the price. I have a heavy gauge large ring, but don’t need such a heavy gauge for these small ones. I read some reviews that say the plunger doesn’t fit, or is rough around the edges. I don’t have this problem at all. While the rings are not perfectly round, I don’t think anyone would notice in the finished cakes. If you’re looking for precise, perfect round, you’ll need to increase your budget quite a bit. The heavier duty rings are substantially more expensive and are typically sold individually rather than in sets. For my needs, that would be like ordering a cocktail gown for a kid’s birthday party.
