This is a big bulb but in a fixture that is open, like ours, it is perfect. It is cool to the touch when its on and looks very unique.
The bulb is packed really well in a clamshell so that it won’t suffer any bumps and knocks in transit.
Don’t know if it’s dimmable as our lamp doesn’t have that function but at full brightness, its perfect for us.
