I am conflicted regarding this product …. though it most certainly does work , keep your expectations at a minimum…My hair is a dark blond , during summer time , my hair naturally turns lighter ( photobleaching )How ever in winter time , I like to keep my hair on the lighter sides using such product …so though this product works , the sun naturally lightens my hair more effectively ( so if u do have the genes responsible for photo bleaching ) skip the product and take in the sun rays

This really works well. I highlight my hair blonde and as I get older my roots grow in very dark. I used this for several months and everyone kept complimenting me on my hair even though it had been months since I had last gotten it done. It also makes my hair smooth and gives it a tad more volume (I have very fine hair). Didn’t cause any problems when I had my hair highlighted again. I will keep using this product!!

It is pretty good, just drying and if it gets on your skin it can dry it out as well and may feel like it is burning but that is expected since it has hydrogen peroxide.

I was nervous trying this because I have naturally dirty blonde hair, my hair is very thin or fine (women at the salon said it wouldn’t be great to dye my hair cause it damages so quickly), and is mid back length so it breaks a lot and has constant split ends. I knew going into this that it would dry my scalp so I also bought regular castor oil. I also knew my hair would turn yellow slightly from the lightening so I bought a purple shampoo from amazon called No Yellow. Furthermore, after just one use I saw a very minimal change. After 3 uses there was a significant difference. Around the 4th use, I soaked my roots and ends in castor oil for 30 mins then took a shower and didn’t put it on my hair that time so it could rest. I used the purple shampoo after the 5th treatment (so showered before the 6th treatment). If I use the purple shampoo, I don’t use the lightening treatment so my hair can have a break. This means I went a couple of days without lightening it again. I have now used it 10 times and I was going to stop but my hair and scalp are very healthy. It recommends no more than 10 treatments after each wash but I have been spreading it out and finished my first bottle after 8 uses (wanted to make sure I covered every inch of my hair). I am on my second bottle and I am going to finish using it throughout August and I am FOR SURE using this every single summer!!! P.S. – I went on a family vacation and they haven’t seen me in a long time and said my hair was very pretty, shiny, and light. I look like how I did at 17 and I’m 24!
