This is super easy and fun to use. As long as you pack the device well with rice and sushi fillings on each side you will be fine. But then make sure you don’t fill it too much, where you can’t close it. Make sure with the plunger end you push down otherwise your ends will be too loose and the ends of your sushi roll will not have anything to them. Make sure you spray with any cooking spray (this will only need it once) so that sushi rice doesn’t stick to the insides.
