Our previous set up was a separate cat bowl and a giant gravity water bowl. I mean it was huge. We wanted it out of convenience but really all it did was attract a million gnats. I really like how most of the water is covered, so our kitty is finally happy drinking gnat-free water ALL of the time. The bottle surprisingly lasts right around a week, we were only expecting a few days. We only have 1 cat, and he is about a year old. But, honestly, it’s so small and out of the way, and it lasts long enough, that it’s just perfect with our current set up. Would recommend one per kitty.
