BE WARNED! The 260 lb rating on these is no joke! I bought several of these to hang some bird feeders and lights on the balcony of my apartment. I live in a high rise apartment building and have to climb up on the rail to reach the upper balcony to put them on. I put one of these on just to test it, now I can’t get it off! I am a very hefty guy and was practically hanging from the magnet until I started feeling like if I pulled any harder I was going to fall to my death if it suddenly released. Nothing I could do but leave it and use it where it was. These magnets are now a permanent part of this building. 😂
