I previously had a similar set from home depot, these appear to be about the same quality with more bits for the same price. They are HSS and should hold up fine for use around the house which is definitely my use case.

My husband only had a bunch of partial drill bit sets that we’ve inherited from others over the years but we have found that some sizes that are missing would be very helpful so I decided to get him this set which has a wide variety of sizes. Now he has his own complete set. They worked well for the few projects we’ve done with them so far. The box isn’t great (in fact there’s a tiny chunk missing from the side/corner of the box) but, it does hold all the bits nicely so you can keep them organized and easy to find. Unfortunately the sizes are very difficult to read because they blend too much with the background. I did appreciate that it comes with a conversion chart though. That’s actually quite helpful.

This is an excellent drill bit set and I have already put several of them to use on a few little projects I’ve been working on. So far, they have worked very well for drilling in wood. I have not tried any metal yet, but will be doing some of that in a week or so and will update on that.They come in a very nice storage case that keeps all of the bits neatly organized. Each size is labeled so it is fairly easy to find the one you want.One note to anyone who buys these; when you get them and open the latch for the case, you will find that it still won’t open. I struggled with this a minute or so until I realized that they put a little yellow plastic plug through the case under the latch that is also holding it closed. You have to remove this plug in order for it to open. Once removed, you can just discard it as it appears to just be for securing it in shipping.
