I bought these knee braces for my father, who is in his 90s and his legs are weak. In addition, he uses crutches to get around the house. The knee braces gives his knees the added support he needs, with rear springs that are helpful when he gets up from a seated position. My father uses crutches because he finds them to be more stable than a cane. The added support of the knee braces allows him more mobility.
