This thing is amazing. I was skeptical because of the price and it seemed flimsy. It is awesome! I used a latex paint for a base coat and then used a gel coat stain for the graining tool. It looks great. I would highly recommend this tool.

I got this tool to do a make my basement laundry room concrete floors look like wood planks and it worked perfectly!! I used a light gray base and about two shades darker for the ‘glaze’ which was just paint mixed with water at about 2 parts paint 1 part water. I also used a wood plank to lay on the floor once done, traced around it with a pen and went over that with black paint and a small liner brush. This technique took some time but I saved a ton of money and I love the look better that laminate!
