If you are considering buying this, look no further. I bought this to enhance mindfullness practice and to aid in meditation, this is such an easy instrument to to not only learn, but to spend countless hours enjoying. I did not mind that the book with songs was in chinese, this somehow made it much more enjoyable playing the songs to find out what they might be was truly delightful. Most of the songs I could not personally name but stumbling across mary had a little lamb or twinkle twinkle was very exciting and reassuring- if its recognizable and sounds right you are probably playing it correctly. This is also something that is easy to get others interested/ joining in. My husband helped me pick out row row row your boat by ear and are hopefully going to find the notes to “Wont you be my neighbor” from Mr. Rogers. The 8 notes are more than sufficeint to play with, I have already learned two songs from Avatar the last air bender which having only owned this less than two weeks is impressive.
