I was tired of making bloated hamburgers patties so I pulled the trigger and purchased this Cuisinart model. I was originally wanting something made of either stainless steel or aluminum but was unimpressed by the prices and reviews and decided on this one. So far we’ve only made about 16 patties but, they have come out perfectly formed with a nearly flat top. If you’re considering this item, don’t forget the individual parchment papers to line both sides of the press because it make removing the patties so much easier and it doesn’t destroy the burger in the process.
