This little gadget really works. I have two small dogs and of course when one barks they both bark even when one doesn’t know what it’s barking at. They stress the fact in the directions that it only works on one dog at a time and that may be the case but mine are always next to each other by the door so who knows, all I do know is I clink it they listen! Now, they follow each others lead so when one stops they both do but what ever the case, I’ll take it! I have not used it outside but we can be on the sofa, point it at them by the door and it works fine. They do not really care about the regular beep but the high one that is louder then our hearing allows sure gets their attention. We are trying to transition them to the normal sound because it seems like it hurts our females ears, she shakes her head after we beep it. The chage lasts a long time also. We use it almost daily/more than once and have not had to recharge it yet and it been maybe two weeks so far. If needed I would buy it again and would recommend it to friends for sure
