For years I’ve looked for something to spread hard butter other than picking up a quarter pound of butter and rubbing it on my toast. Hard butter with a “butter” knife tears up the toast. We have been storing our butter at room temperature for years, raised some eyebrows from family in the past but now they know that it’s perfectly safe. Also, we tend to use less butter so it’s good for the waistline as well. I lost the butter knife that came with my original silverware set, thought I’d order another one and ran across this cool gadget. It works great on soft butter, will probably work well on hard butter but I don’t have any because that’s not how we roll. I’ve included a video so you can see how it works.
